The Lok Sabha elections are coming in few months in May 2019. People will vote in the General Election to select their favourite and the eligible candidate or party. It is also our legal rights and moral responsibility to vote. All the political parties are preparing for the elections and in the meantime, it is also necessary that you also prepare to vote, but you can vote only if you have a name in the voter list or the voter list. But do you know that the voter list is prepared before voting in the election, in which only you can vote if your name is registered in the Voters List? 1. First of all, open www.nvsp.in website of national voter service in any browser of mobile.
2. There will be a search option on the left side of the website, click on it then a new window will open.
3. There will be two options for searching the names in the voter list on the new window.
a) The first method can be searched by giving information about your name, father's name, state, date of birth, assembly area etc.
b) In the second method, your name can be searched with the help of your voter identity card number.
4. By whatever information you find convenient, fill in the information required in it, your name can be seen in the searched voter list.
5. After entering the information, after entering the code, click on Search.
6. Now if your name is in the voter's list then it will appear on the screen.
7. People of Bihar, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu can also send their message to check their name in the electoral roll.
8. For this purpose, they need to send an SMS to 56677 by writing ELE (10 digit voter identification number). This message will be charged for Rs.3.
